Who will I work with?
You work with me. Prismora Data is a one-person consultancy, so the person on the first call is the person who does the work, from the first diagnostic to the final handoff. There is no junior team behind me. If your project needs more hands than I have (a large migration with many parallel workstreams, for example), I'll tell you on the first call.
What is Rene Haase's background?
I spent the first part of my career as the person who needed the numbers, and the second building the systems that deliver them. That's about 30 years in data, nearly two decades in analytics and more than a decade in data engineering.
I've led data and software engineering teams at Amazon, Groupon, Integral Ad Science and Paylocity, including organizations of up to 80 people in a global team. My full history is on LinkedIn.
I hold economics degrees from German universities. That's why my first question on any project is what the data is supposed to change in the business.
What has Rene built himself?
I founded Prismora Data and built StockDataAnalytics, a stock pattern detection service I've run on my own since 2025. Every trading day it scans more than 6,000 NYSE and NASDAQ stocks for 16 bullish chart patterns and scores each setup against more than 370,000 past detections. An automated training pipeline rebuilds the scoring models and throws out any model that fails on data it hasn't seen (the usual culprit is overfitting: a model that fits past data well and new data badly).
I mention it because it's the clearest proof of how I work. It's a production data system (ingestion, storage, modeling and reporting) that I built and still operate, and I publish its results, including the parts that don't work yet. You can see it live at stockdataanalytics.com.

Where is Prismora Data based?
Prismora Data LLC is an Illinois limited liability company based in Park Ridge, just outside Chicago. I work remotely with clients across the US and travel for on-site workshops when a project needs them.
